Big Night - August 6, 2007
oh what a night! it was hot down in the Baggot Inn, at least 95 degrees with virtually no AC. everybody was sweating freely. in a way it promoted a feeling of "hey, we're all in this together". if you wanted to hear us you had to pay in sweat, even the band was awash in the salty stuff. we hit the tiny stage and after a brief sound check we proceeded to roll out the magic. the crowd response was nothing short of raw enthusiasm, the more love they gave us the more we gave back until the music reached the upper limits. we pulled no punches. As a special treat Mike from HDATZ joined us onstage and played some truly soulful harmonica and graced us with a gorgeous vocal harmony on "Manhattan Bound". That man and his band Hot Day at The Zoo are Talented with a capital T! Thanks for coming to the show and don't forget the ketchup and fries with that fatburger, yeah ! - Uncle Mint
rainbow vortex frequencies - August 2, 2007
" time may actually be non-linear, more like spokes on a wheel, each spoke being an evolutionary set of possibilities which eminate from a core that is beyond the nature of language, thought and phenomena, a kind of multidimensional sine wave generator powered by the reflection of a simultaneously collapsing and expanding universe" tap into that barrel and make it boogie sometime ! - uncle mint, 8/2/07
fried catfish and onions - July 30, 2007

people ask about this and that, but what do they really mean? most likely, it has more to do with the questioner than the question...

what really makes the guitar an almost perfect instrument are it's imperfections. the same thing goes for me
fortune cookie - May 15, 2007
it is possible by pure force of will to create an entirely new self paradigm not based on the past but modeled on the unfolding novelty of perpetual reinvention.

a bubble floats to the surface of a pond, exists for a moment, then bursts sending forth small ripples in outward concentric circles. the minutia of aquatic life nearby acknowledge the disturbance and adjust. this is also the nature of a thought. not my thoughts exactly maybe someone elses, i'm not exactly sure who though

let the song spill forth like wine to the cup so that we all may drink of it. and if you spill a little on your shirt try dabbing it with club soda

ancient zen saying - "to see is to be blind". that is unless you are really blind, then to see is not to be blind, to be blind is to be blind. Even my cousin Marvin, who didn't exactly graduate at the top of his class knows that much. who comes up with these zen sayings??
